Passing of Mike Robledo

Passing of Mike Robledo

11/7/51 – 4/12/22

Mike (Mijo) Robledo passed away on Tuesday 4/12/22, after a courageous four-and-a-half-year battle with cancer. What a great loss for all of us who knew him and loved him.

After serving four years in the US Air Force, Mike spent ten years with Zellerbach Paper Co. in Los Angeles, before joining PSA (Professional Sales Associates, Inc.)

During his thirty-three years with PSA, Mike started as a sales representative and rose to become VP of Sales.

Along the way Mike made friends with everyone he encountered, and once you met Mike you were a friend for life.

His four cherished things were: Family, Faith, Friends and Fun.

A large loving extended family, his church, his multitudes of friends and the fun he had at work and play, made him the wonderful human being he was.

Mike started Club Mijo (club that is part of SCGA) and for the past nineteen years he has run the well-known Mijo Invitational Golf Tourney.

Always the first to volunteer, Mike was active with the local traveler’s club (GSTC), META (Making Education The Answer), The City of Hope and many other organizations.

Mike always participated with the annual COH local tour each December. He was treated at COH, and was our guest “survivor” speaker at numerous COH functions and virtual meetings.

Mike’s family… his wife Nancy, his son and wife Mike Jr. and Sarah, his daughter Rachel, Nancy’s children Bryan and his wife Amber, Philip (deceased) and Ann,  his nine grandchildren, his siblings Danny (deceased), Carmen (deceased), Fred, Julie and Carlos, and his extended family all were his pride and inspiration.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The City of Hope, META, and LACNETS (Neuroendocrine Cancer Community)
